Head Organizer
Webster48
Webster48 is a 48 hour game, film, and animation jam held by and for Webster University students. Prop and unique prompts are revealed and each project is shown at a community screening after the 48 hour mark. Lastly, awards are given out based on popular voting. The event garners 50-100 participants. This last year's prop was masks!

What did I do?
Leadership
As one of the few organizers that helped in years past, many new organizers relied on me to tell them what we would need to get done. I did my best to inspire everyone to work hard but also stay positive about the event. Our number one goal was to create a fun event for students!
Marketing
I took care of marketing our some social media posts through the Game Design Guild's instagram, coordinating with designers for posters all around the school, and announcements in classes and clubs about the event. We've found that most students heard through flyers or clubs more than social media posts.
Organizing
I created an agenda so that all members of the organizing team knew what was discussed with each meeting leading up to the event. I also coordinated catering orders as well as part of the budget in order for our event to go over smoothly.
